FAQ- Regarding TalentBarometer, an Online Test Series for CBSE Board Exam Preparation

1. How do I buy a subscription for any Test series?
In case you are a registered user of the site then you login and select the Test series as desired by you and proceed to pay by credit or debit card.
There is option to pay by cash. Please contact the address below mentioned:-

In case you want to pay by demand draft, please send the demand draft with mention of the product name and your user id.
The draft is to be made payable at New Delhi.
Once we receive the payment, your account will be activated within 48 hours of receiving the payment. An email of activation will be sent to you after which you can then start the course.

2. Is it necessary to pay in Indian Rupees?
No!! People residing in India need to pay in Indian Rupees and people residing out of India need to pay in equivalent USD. Every product carries the price of the product in the product detail.

3. Do I have to attend any campus lectures?
No. The programmes of Talent Barometer are conducted completely online.

4. What is the duration of these packages?
Duration of these packages is fixed 1 year from your date of purchase.

5. In case of difficulties while doing the course, whom do I contact?
Whenever you face the problem please inform by sending email at support@talentbarometer.com . Please inform your login id and password also. Please give us 24 hrs to respond.

6. Do you offer the subscriber any kind of certificate at the end of the programme?
No !! We do not offer any sort of certificate, This programme only offers self assessment and testing service only in order to find gaps in the concept and knowledge so that one improves his score in the final exam. It is kind of Math Gym.

7. How many tests will be available per product, per subject, per unit? What are the topics covered in each course?
There are around 150 to 200 tests in each product. Every chapter of the course has around 10 tests each other than these there are quarterly tests, half yearly tests and full yearly tests too. Every topic and every concept has been widely / richly covered.

8. When will the courses be launched?
All the courses are available on www.talentbarometer.com . We keep creating new courses and list of courses under construction is available on home page in “Launching Soon” section

9. Can I give a sample test before I enroll for any programme on Talent Barometer?
Yes!! There are many tests in free trial section of each course, you can see the content, you can try the content and you can feel the whole system.

10. What about discounts, scholarships etc.?
We keep launching discounts and schemes and they can be seen on the home page, they keep changing from time to time, so keep observing them from time to time.

11. Who gets the Welcome Kit and what does it include?
In the welcome kit you will get your user name and password along with a N step guide on how to use the website effectively for maximum Benefit

12. Can I subscribe more than one programme?
Yes!!! One can subscribe more than one programme and use them. Please look at combo offers , to see if there is any discount available on your chosen product.

13. What are the benefits of subscription in an online testing programme?
The benefits of this online testing programme are many fold:-
• Ease of testing :- By using web based testing method , one can test any time from any location and when ever one is prepared to test a particular chapter or group of chapters or the whole subject.
• Test to perfection:- There are 6 – 10 tests per chapter , this is to ensure that the child should keep testing himself till the time he start getting the score in the range of 93% to 98% . For example if in the 1st test he scores 60% , than after knowing the mistakes from the test report he can revise the chapter and correct his mistake , and than he can reappear for the 2nd test of the same chapter ( off course containing different questions) ….and so on till he starts getting the 90% plus score in tests. Clarity in concepts is what is the road for the better score in the final exams , but there is no sure shot way for child or even to the parent , that where is the gap in concepts before the exams, Talent Barometer solves this problem , it keeps all the record of the score till the time the session ends, and emails the result to parent and child on every test completion and as well reminds the parent and child in case no test has been taken in seven days.

14. How do I get my Account activated?
If you are buying online then it is activated online only in real time at the very moment.
If in case you are not buying online, then please give us 24 -48 hrs to get your account activated.
In case you have bought the course from a school or coaching center, than please give us 24 – 48 hrs after the school or coaching center has send us your payments and your details.

15. Do the tests follow the present structure / module followed in the main examination?
Our tests are scientifically designed to test the skills and the concepts of the person being tested. The questions will be chapter specific and will adhere to CBSE syllabus

16. Can I take full length test or any unit test from the syllabus anytime during my subscription validity?
Yes!! You can take any test any time, till the time your subscription is active.

17. Can all tests be taken one after another?
Yes !! You can take all the exams, but can not repeat any exam.

18. Can I give the OFFLINE test?
No !! You cannot give offline test. We do not offer offline test as we keep updating the content, which will be impossible to do in offline tests.
Also one of the main advantages of our product is the immediate feedback and results history which it gives immediately real time which is impossible in offline mode.

19. While giving the test due to power failure / lost connection, the test was disrupted. Do I need to start the test again?
Yes, you can continue the last attempt from the very beginning.

20. I log in with my User Id in the Talent barometer site, but I see another user’s Id on the screens.
Your computer should be caching files, please clear the cache of your computer and login into the site again.
On your Internet Explorer, click on Tools->Internet Option->Click on the General Tab
1)Click on Delete Cookies: A message would be displayed-Delete all cookies in the Temporary Internet Files Folder?
Click on the OK Button
2) Click on Delete Files Button: On the “Delete Files” message box that opens up, check the “Delete all offline content” checkbox
Click on the OK Button
Close the Internet Options window by clicking the OK Button

21. I am starting a particular test but the questions of another test are being displayed!
Your computer must be caching files, please clear the cache of your computer and login into the site again
On your Internet Explorer, click on Tools->Internet Option->Click on the General Tab
1) Click on Delete Cookies: A message would be displayed-Delete all cookies in the Temporary Internet Files Folder?
Click on the OK Button.
2) Click on Delete Files Button: On the “Delete Files” message box that opens up, check the “Delete all offline content” checkbox.
Click on the OK Button.
Close the Internet Options window by clicking the OK Button

22. I am having a question, which is not addressed by the questions mentioned above .
